Viewing Leads from Inbound SMS Funnels:
Understanding
Engagement Stages

The Leads report shows each contact who entered an OTTO collector — their stage in the conversation, what data they provided, and whether they completed qualification. This is where you see what the platform is actually producing.

LeadsInbound FunnelsQualificationReporting
What It ShowsAny qualifying contact who entered a collector — their engagement stage (started, in-progress, completed), captured data, and entry point source.
Partial vs CompleteEven contacts who didn’t complete the flow appear here — with their phone number and entry source captured. Partial leads can be re-engaged in outbound campaigns.
Why It MattersThis is the lead output of your collectors. Agencies use it for client reporting. Sales teams use it to prioritize follow-up by qualification stage.

Lead reports close the loop between OTTO’s activity and your team’s pipeline. Most contact in this report has a real, carrier-verified phone number — and most have qualification data that makes the follow-up call warm.

Accessing Leads Reports

1
Go to Reports → Viewing Leads (Inbound SMS Funnels)
Or access directly from the collector: click the collector name → View Leads
2
Filter by collector, date range, and engagement stage
Completed, In Progress, and Started — each stage tells you something different about lead intent and quality
Export as CSV for CRM import or client reporting
Structured data: phone number, name (if captured), all qualification fields, entry point, timestamp, and stage

Understanding Engagement Stages

Completed

Contact finished the entire collector flow — received the Prepare Caller final message, and your team received the email lead alert. These are your highest-priority follow-up contacts.

🔄
In Progress

Contact started the flow and answered some questions but didn’t finish. Partial qualification data is captured. These contacts received an OTTO prompt and didn’t reply — candidates for a follow-up outbound.

📥
Started

Contact tapped the SmartLink and sent the first text — triggering opt-in and phone capture — but didn’t respond to OTTO’s first question. Phone number is captured. Can be added to an outbound list.

🚫
Opted Out

Contact replied STOP or another opt-out keyword at any point in the flow. Automatically suppressed from all future sends. Cannot be contacted again unless they re-opt in.

Working with Partial Leads

In Progress and Started contacts are not lost leads — they’re partial opt-ins with a captured phone number. Export these segments and add them to a re-engagement outbound campaign with a different angle: a shorter message, a different offer, or a direct ask (“Still interested? Reply YES and I’ll reach out.”). OTTO handles every reply automatically.

An abandoned form captures nothing. A partial OTTO interaction captures a carrier-verified phone number, a timestamp, and an entry point source. The floor is categorically higher.
