Updating the Details of a
Single Phone Number

Every number in your TextingOnly account has its own detail page. Here’s how to get to it, edit the number’s description, manage which users can access it, and — for 1-to-1 numbers — set up an autoresponder.

Numbers are central to every TextingOnly account — all communication happens on either a 1-to-1 SMS number or an SMS Campaign number. Each number has its own page where you can review and edit its details whenever you need to. This guide walks through reaching that page and the settings you can change.

Getting to a Single Number Page

Open the Numbers page
Click “Numbers” in the lefthand navigation of the dashboard to reach your account’s Numbers main page, which lists every number on the account.

Click “View Details” on a number
Find the number you want and click “View Details” to open the detail page for that single number.

Editing the Details of a Number

On the single-number page you can review the number’s current details and make edits as needed. Specifically, you can:

Edit the description
Rename or re-label the number so it’s easy to identify in lists and reports — especially helpful when you manage several numbers.

Manage user access
Add or remove which users on the account can access and use that particular number.
