Creating QR Codes in TextingOnly
Creating QR Codes in TextingOnly:
Offline → SMS
Conversion
Every Lead Collector auto-generates a QR code. Point it at any physical surface — direct mail, door hangers, yard signs, event signage, print ads, receipts — and turn offline interactions into SMS conversations with full source attribution.
This feature is part of TextingOnly’s entry point system — every surface your customers interact with is a potential SmartLink or QR code that feeds the same OTTO qualification flow and reports.
Accessing Your QR Code
Where to Deploy QR Codes
EDDM, postcards, letters. QR on the front or back with a clear CTA. Each mailing piece can have a unique QR for per-piece attribution.
QR code with “Text us for a free quote” converts door-to-door distribution into SMS opt-ins — tracked separately from web leads.
QR on truck wraps, lawn signs, job site signage. Neighbors who scan enter OTTO immediately — no website visit required.
Restaurants, retail, service businesses. QR on the table tent or printed receipt converts existing customers into opted-in SMS contacts.
Badge scanners are passive. QR on your booth signage or handout converts active interest into a live SMS conversation with OTTO.
Replace the clipboard. QR on the door collects attendee details through OTTO — carrier-verified phone, buying timeline, pre-approval status.
Per-Placement Attribution
Create a separate collector — or use the same collector with different UTM tags — for each physical placement. Your reports will show which placements drive the most scans, highest opt-in rate, and best conversion to qualified leads.
Create a separate QR code per location. Your report breaks down which location drives which scan volume — so you know where to concentrate print spend.
Why QR-to-SMS attribution outperforms QR-to-web — and how to close the gap between offline spend and online reporting.
