Subgroups Overview:
Manage Multiple Clients from One Login

Subgroups are the Agency plan feature that lets you create isolated client accounts under a single TextingOnly login — separate numbers, collectors, lists, contacts, and reports per client, managed from a single dashboard.

What Subgroups AreIsolated client workspaces — each with their own numbers, collectors, lists, contacts, and reports. Completely separate from one another, all visible from one login.
Who Needs ThemAgencies and resellers managing SMS for multiple clients. Also used by multi-location businesses where each location gets its own isolated account.
What They EnableWhite-label delivery — each client operates in their own subgroup with their own local number, OTTO flows, and lead reports. Agency retains master access.

Subgroups are the infrastructure behind the agency model. Every collector, number, campaign, and contact in a subgroup belongs exclusively to that subgroup — other subgroups (and clients) can’t see it.

Creating a Subgroup

1
Go to Subgroups → Create Subgroup
From the main dashboard navigation
2
Enter the subgroup name (client or location name)
Use a clear naming convention — client company name, location, or a combination. You’ll navigate by this name.
Click Create — subgroup is live immediately
Switch to the new subgroup and begin setup: add a number, create a collector, configure the first SmartLink.

Switching Between Subgroups

Use the subgroup selector in the top navigation to switch between client accounts. Everything you see — numbers, collectors, contacts, campaigns, reports — updates to reflect only that subgroup’s data. Always confirm you’re in the right subgroup before creating or editing.

Editing a Subgroup

1
From the Dashboard, find the subgroup
The subgroup list shows all active accounts under your master login
Click Actions → Edit to update the name or settings
Renaming a subgroup doesn’t affect the numbers, collectors, or data inside it
✓ Agency best practice

Build a standard setup template for new subgroups — one Campaign number, one ITR collector with your standard lead capture flow, one associated list. Then replicate it for each new client. Setup time per client should be under 30 minutes.
